Leslie Kenny

Leslie is a Partner at Willow Brook Capital, Oxford, England, which helps raise capital for UK university spinout companies in life sciences. She is also an adviser to the University College, Oxford, Investment Committee.

Earlier in her career, she was a VC-backed pioneer in online matchmaking in Asia with her software and database providing the backbone for Meta4Group’s WorldFriends, Asia's largest white label matchmaking platform.

She has actively worked with healthcare agencies, including the Japanese Ministry of Health, Marie Stopes China and the China Family Planning Association since 2000 and formed a ground-breaking partnership with the CFPA, becoming the first online company to partner with a Chinese government healthcare agency to disseminate healthcare content online. Her company, DotMedia Studios, was the first in Asia to offer online healthcare content via mobile phones in India, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore.

Leslie also worked as an executive at both Walt Disney Studios Asia Pacific and Swiss Bank Corporation/ UBS, in Zurich, London and Hong Kong. She has a BA cum laude from UC Berkeley, an MBA from Harvard Business School. In her spare time, she enjoys consulting as a holistic health and performance coach to stressed out execs and entrepreneurs.
